geeezzz dead blog much?
I KNEW IT.
I WOULD LET MY BLOG DIE DDD:
xDDD heheh
yeah anyway....ME ISHEH HAPPEH xD
I.....finally stocked up on reading material!
Hahah this sounds so silly (lawl you're probably thinking "who likes reading?!")
YEAH I DO(:
hahah really!
I bought:
1. The Memory Keeper's Daughter
2. Never Let Me Go
3. The Exiled (OH YES I finally found it after like....a year/6 mnths :D)
I just got the first two 2 days ago adn I'm already done with them! xD
hahahah my books NEVER last long so I just re-read them instead(:
Yeah but they were both REALLY good books<333
"The Memory Keeper's Daughter" was.... really sweet (in a way) but sad too...):
It's basically about this girl who has Down Syndrome and is thus given away by her Dad.
Her Mom and Twin never knew that she was actually alive till her dad died):
So sad....
But....IT'S A GREAT BOOK :D
REALLY(((:
Haha yeah but I think I liked "Never Let Me Go" more cos it was like...idk..it wasn't so much of the plot that I really liked - as in I liked it but I rly like TMKD's plot too so yea- but it was more of the writing style I guess?
It's more intimate(:
Yeah this story's kinda sci-fi ish i guess?
I NEVER would have thought it was sci-fi ish from it's cover....it seemed so "Cynthia Kadohata" (did I spell that right?)
Anyway.
So I realised it's actually kinda like "My Sister's Keeper" but just in a way larger scale?
Yeah.
So like these group of children (They're actually clones) they grew up in this place called Hailsham which is acutally a school for ppl like them.
So Hailsham was started up to give people like them, or "students" as they are called in the book, better living conditions.
Compared to other "schools", Hailsham actually provides the students with A LOT.
Yeah anyway these students are raised for the sole reason that they will be donors when they grow up.
Donors not in the sense that they donate things like blood.
They donate their VITAL ORGANS
So...after about maybe 3-4 donations these donors would have been "completed" as they call it.
This basically means they have died):
So...the story is just about the life of these students(:
IT'S RLY GOOD<3
READ IT!
note: there ARE loopholes though ><
Yep and I just got "The Exiled" today(:
I WAS SO HAPPY!!!! :D
hahhaha yeah((:
I'm....half-way through?(:
Hahah yeah this ish a verehh bookeh post but I hope it revives my blog(((:
xoxo,
Rachel<3
